BucketLinks ("we", "our", "the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to save product listings and web links from online shopping sites and any website into organised, visual "buckets". The extension is developed and maintained independently.

BucketLinks has a single, clearly defined purpose:
All features of the extension — the floating save button, the popup, the dashboard, the product scraper, and bucket management — exist solely to support this core purpose. The extension does not perform any function unrelated to saving and organising links and product data for the user's personal reference.
BucketLinks does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information to external servers. All data is stored exclusively on your own device using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API.

We do not collect: browsing history, personal identity information, payment information, authentication credentials, cookies, form data, or any data beyond what is explicitly described above.
When you click the "Save" button on a supported website (such as major e-commerce platforms and other shopping sites), BucketLinks reads visible product information from the current page tab, specifically:
This data is read only when you explicitly initiate a save action by clicking the floating button or pressing Alt+B. The extension does not passively monitor, record, or transmit page content in the background.
All extracted data is saved directly to chrome.storage.local on your device and never sent anywhere else.

BucketLinks does not share, sell, rent, or transfer any user data to any third party under any circumstances. The extension has no backend server, no analytics service, no advertising network, and no data broker integrations.
The extension does not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Segment, or any similar analytics or telemetry service.
All data is stored locally on your device for as long as the extension is installed, or until you manually delete items and buckets within the extension's interface.
To delete all BucketLinks data:
chrome://extensions → BucketLinks → "Remove Extension", or clear your browser's extension storage via Chrome DevTools (chrome.storage.local.clear())BucketLinks is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. As the extension stores no personal data at all, there is no specific risk to children's privacy.
Since all data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's native chrome.storage.local API, it is subject to the security model of your Chrome browser and operating system. We do not transmit data over any network, so there is no risk of data interception in transit.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, notify users via the Chrome Web Store listing update notes. Your continued use of the extension after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
